Top Gun : Maverick

Strap in and get ready for the jaw-dropping TOP GUN: MAVERICK, blazing onto our open-air big screen. The biggest cinema smash hit of 2022, the movie picks up the story of Tom Cruise’s Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell who, after more than 30 years as a crack naval aviator, returns to Top Gun to train an elite team of graduates, including the son of his former wingman, Goose. Ghosts from the past come back to haunt him, and he and his team must prepare for their most dangerous mission yet. Spectacular aerial sequences and heart-pounding action combine to bring 80s classic Top Gun roaring up to date in this new adventure. It’s time to buzz the tower all over again!

Food and Drink: you are not permitted to bring your own food and drink to this event. We will be serving hot food, cinema snacks and hot drinks on the evening. The bar will also be serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks & cocktails.

Booking policy: All tickets are to be booked directly with The Alfresco Film Company The Hotel does not manage the ticket sales for this event.

Other Information: Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Please check film age ratings. Deckchairs will be provided for those purchasing premium seats, all other customers selecting standard seating must bring their own low-backed camping chairs, bean bags or picnic rugs.

Weather policy: Weather policy: screenings go ahead in all but worst weathers. Only if there’s heavy, prolonged rain or high winds forecast will the screening be postponed or cancelled. Umbrellas are permitted in the screening area until the film is about to begin, but must then be put away so that those behind you can see the screen. No refunds will be given unless the screening is cancelled.
